True to this spirit, we are introducing a brand-new logistics concept at Prologis Park Bratislava, making great logistics space available at smaller sizes and with greater flexibility.
Our new “small flexi units” open up the possibilities of premium logistics space to fast-growing companies and start-ups who wouldn’t otherwise choose to base their operations in a large warehouse facility. They also provide a new, more flexible option for larger customers. We’re rolling out the concept in at Prologis Park Bratislava in Building 2, where 4,800 square meters of refurbished space has been split into four separate units, ranging from 600 – 1,500 square meters.
“The main aim of small flexi units is to help dynamic businesses with their short-term growth goals,” says Jakub Randa, leasing customer experience manager for Slovakia. “In creating this entirely new concept, we have reacted to significant demand for small warehouse spaces with flexible lease terms. This demand has been confirmed by the great interest in our first flexi units in Bratislava, with three of the four units leased within a month of appearing on the market.”
With flexible lease terms, small flexi units are the perfect launchpad for businesses looking to expand and grow. Each unit can be tailored to the specific space requirements of customers, being able to expand or contract by up to 600 square meters. They also promote a great sense of community – the units at Prologis Park Bratislava are joined by a shared social area with a kitchen and dining room. We foster a community spirit at all Prologis parks through our PARKlife initiative, providing recreational areas and relaxation spaces for the enjoyment of all customers and their employees.
Small flexi units at Prologis Park Bratislava have so far been snapped up by a global freight forwarding company, collection and sorting machine manufacturer, and a logistics company. The three companies will move this spring into 1,500, 1,450, and 1,220 square meter units respectively. One more small flexi unit of approximately 600 square meters is still available.
