Green Solutions
Innovative solutions in Building 12 include high-grade insulated wall panels and roof systems, together with high-performance gas-fired heaters. LED lighting and large skylights cut electricity consumption, while smart meters optimize water, electricity and gas consumption.
Charged for the Future
To reduce transport-related emissions, we installed two electric car charging stations at the park, able to recharge four vehicles simultaneously and quickly.
Biological Wastewater Treatment
The park has its very own biological wastewater treatment plant carrying out complete biological purification. Monitored by onsite experts, this provides a green solution for water treatment, reducing the park's ecological footprint.
Carpooling
Sharing is caring! To promote more efficient transportation, we launched the Prologis Car Sharing website in 2018. Employees can arrange carsharing, helping them get to know each other while cutting emissions.
Innovative Design
Building 12 was designed using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, an intelligent 3D design system giving architecture, engineering and construction professionals the insights to make the space as efficient as possible. Working together with customers, BIM technology helps us make our spaces as effective as possible, while driving energy-saving opportunities as part of our commitment to carbon-neutral development.
