Prologis is thrilled to announce the construction of a new 14,000 square metre building at its newest park, Prologis Park Budapest – Sziget II. This new state-of-the-art space will more than double the park’s capacity, following the earlier construction of a 13,700 square metre building to kick-start operations at the park. The new 14,000-sqm space will bring modern warehouse and office space to customers.
"We know how important it is for our customers to have a perfect location, flexible space, and an attractive working environment. With this in mind, we chose this park, just a few kilometres from Szigetszentmiklós, as the location for a new speculative development. In addition to nearly 14,000 square meters already handed over to customers, we have more than 18,000 square meters now under construction and an additional 110,000 square metres of buildable capacity ready to go," said Máté Szoboszlay, Prologis' Director of Capital Allocation in Hungary.

The newest park in Prologis' Hungarian portfolio is located in a premium location just 17 kilometres south of Budapest city centre, in Szigetszentmiklós, next to the M0 motorway. The motorway provides quick and efficient access to the international airport and the M1, M7 and M5 motorways, making the park an ideal strategic location for distribution activities.
