When long-standing Prologis customer Kuehne + Nagel needed a new tailor-made facility to fulfil their challenging logistics needs, they knew they could rely on us to meet their requirements. We were delighted to provide 11,079 square meters of cold storage at our Park in Ruda Śląska for the global logistics service provider.
Kuehne + Nagel deliver comprehensive services in demanding sectors, from aerospace to medicine and pharmacy, and their brand-new dedicated facility at Prologis Park Ruda Śląska is almost as innovative as they are. It’s full of innovative solutions to meet the rigorous requirements of serving their FMCG sector customers, involving temperature-controlled supply chains. The building includes a refrigerated warehouse with a temperature range of 4 to 6°C, with an area of more than 10,000 square meters and a maximum height of 12.4 meters. Temperature regulation will be ensured through advanced insulation and temperature control systems installed throughout. All new Prologis buildings are accredited BREEAM “Good” or above, and Kuehne + Nagel’s BTS space will be no exception.”

And the building is fitted with an environmentally-friendly solar heating system for drinking water in the office area.
