Double the good news from Wrocław – and twice the satisfaction! Our customer – a leading producer of ecological labels – has extended its lease, while also signing a contract for the construction of a new tailor-made warehouse, all at Prologis Park Wrocław V.
The contract, for a total of 30,000 sqm, includes:
- construction of build-to-suit (BTS) space with a total area of over 11,600 square meters.
- extension of the current lease agreement for 19,100 square meters.
Construction works on the new BTS has just begun. A warehouse and office section will be built in the first stage of the project, to be completed in the third quarter of 2021. The second stage will see the construction of an office with an area of almost 1,000 square meters – commissioning for this phase of the project is expected by the end of the year.
The new BTS space will emphasize the advantages of green industrial construction: up to 12.5% of the area will be lit with natural daylight, and workers’ comfort will be ensured with energy-saving LED lighting, using a DALI intelligent control system and motion sensors. Thicker insulation in the hall will result in increased energy efficiency, and emissions will be limited through the installation of 50kW photovoltaic panels and solar collectors for heating water.
To ensure maximum operational efficiency, the spacing of pillars in the warehouse will be adapted to the specific needs of the client. Strengthened floors will also be implemented, with the dock platforms allowing loads of up to 15 tonnes.
“Our customer has a long history of combining sustainable development with innovation, creating its products in a closed-loop system without the use of fossil fuel resources. They knew they could expect an equally responsible approach from us in the area of green development. The result will be an environmentally friendly, cost-effective building equipped with a number of modern solutions, precisely tailored to the expectations and needs of our longtime customer, which has operating at Prologis Park Wrocław V for 11 years now. We are extremely proud of this proof that understanding customers’ needs, while providing a flexible approach and daily support, bring success,” says Marcin Czerniewski, Prologis Project Manager, Lower Silesia region.
Whether it’s locations bringing greater connectivity, modern warehouse spaces tailored to the specific needs of customers, or 24/7 support from our Customer Experience Team, satisfaction is… Made in Prologis.
