The Prologis team in Warsaw has gained a new director. On April 1, Marzena Tkaczuk joined Prologis’ group of development experts as Capital Deployment Director, with particular responsibility for the implementation of build-to-suit projects.
Marzena has worked in the commercial real estate industry for more than 18 years. Prior to joining Prologis, she was at Panattoni for 10 years, where she worked as Director of Business Development in the BTS division. Before that, she spent eight years with Polish industrial real estate company Jartom. Marzena is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Commerce and Law, where she earned a master's degree in management. In her career to date, she has been responsible for completing BTS projects for companies including Halfen (Leviat), Action, Ontex, Animex, Rockwell, Ideal Automotive, Kongsberg, Kellogg and many others.
Marzena has extensive experience in complex real estate and development transaction management. She has in-depth knowledge of negotiating leases and development agreements, as well as land acquisition transactions and due diligence processes. She is well acquainted with the specifics of working with different stakeholder groups at each stage of a development – including customers, investors, land sellers, local authorities, legal teams, architects, and general contractors.
"Marzena's knowledge and impressive experience in BTS projects will make a real difference to our delivery of more challenging projects for customers. Here at Prologis, we have the best experts on the market, who perfectly understand customer needs and are able to meet them through tailor-made projects. BTS projects represent one of our most successful directions for development as a business, and the addition of Marzena will provide a further boost in this area," said Pawel Sapek, Prologis Senior Vice President and Regional Head Prologis in Central Europe.
