De Care has been successfully marketing food products from different parts of the world to the Polish market for more than 30 years. As of September 2021, the company occupies almost 7,400 m2 of warehouse and office space in the DC4 building at Prologis Park Błonie. Due to an increase in demand for high-quality ethnic food products, the company has decided not only to extend its contract for another three years, but also to increase its leased space by a further 3,400 m2.
"Combining our passion for travel and discovering new flavors, we created De Care - a place full of inspiration, knowledge sharing and expanding horizons. In Prologis facilities, we found a place where we can grow. And the fact that we share the same values - such as quality, reliability and responsibility - provides an excellent platform for partnership." - said Andrzej Ogórek, CFO of De Care Group.
Prologis Park Blonie is a modern distribution center consisting of seven buildings with a total area of 152,000 m2. It is located 25 kilometers west of Warsaw's city center, near the E30/DK92 road connecting Western and Eastern Europe and the A2 highway connecting Warsaw and Berlin. This makes it particularly attractive for companies with both pan-European and regional distribution operations. Prologis Park Blonie was recognized as the best warehouse in Poland in 2019, mainly for its individual approach to customers and their needs.
"The renewal of the contract and the expansion of the warehouse and office space by De Care, is a signal to us that despite the difficult situation, the market is still growing. Knowing that we can meet our customer's needs regardless of the economic situation gives great satisfaction," says Piotr Lenczewski, Leasing & Customer Experience Manager at Prologis
