On September 3rd, for the 8th year, Prologis people will participate in the Stelvio for Life Challenge – a 21 km charity climb, up 1,533m of one of Italy’s most iconic passes - the Passo dello Stelvio. Our team is going up this mountain to generate awareness and raise money for the Stelvio for Life foundation, who funds patient-orientated, personalized, DNA-based cancer treatment.
Personalized cancer treatment has the mission to identify the most effective treatments while minimizing the side effects. Every euro helps to directly fund vital and life changing research and personalised cancer treatment.
Each year, Prologis people from across all our offices in Europe rally together to raise awareness and funds for this worthy cause. Running, cycling or walking to the top of the Stelvio Pass, our Prologis people are passionate in their support to this charity sports event. Over the past 7 years, we have raised €550K for Stelvio for Life, and this year we continue to push hard with our target to raise 170,000 euro.
Prologis has been part of this event from its inception 10 years ago and will continue to participate as long as is needed. Not only have individual participant efforts been phenomenal, but contribution has been made even more valuable thanks to our fantastic business sponsors who’ve helped us far surpass our targeted expectations.
