We know how important the comfort and wellbeing our customers' employees is to them. That is why our parks are not only designed for maximum operational efficiency, but also to be the best and most pleasant spaces for people who work there.
Daily activities of our customers are supported by modern solutions, including a smart metering system for remote monitoring of utility consumption that is integrated with a dedicated online platform for property management. Security is provided by an ESFR system, while energy efficiency is achieved through the equipping of the building with LED lighting.
It is important for us that our customers can provide their employees with an easy and fast commute, including by public transport. Therefore, for their convenience, within our parks there are extensive car parking lots and bicycle sheds, and in the immediate vicinity there are public transport stops providing convenient connections.
These types of comprehensive solutions were expected by our new customer and it found them with Prologis, choosing to move in to the last vacant unit at Prologis Park Łódź.
UN1F1ED2 Global Packaging Group, a leading designer and manufacturer of custom packaging, has leased 6,700 square meters of warehouse and office space at Prologis Park Łódź. The company, which operates in many international markets for a variety of sectors including pharmaceuticals, medical, automotive and electronics, had made the decision to change its distribution model.
“When choosing a warehouse, we were guided by our philosophy, which is based on three key assumptions, i.e. providing the highest quality products, maximally short delivery times to our customers, as well as guaranteeing a comfortable working environment for employees. The offer of Prologis Park Łódź met all our requirements and, additionally, the space was available almost immediately, which allowed us to maintain continuity of deliveries,” said Adam Lipski, Operation Director, UN1F1ED2 Global Packaging Group.
Kamila Pruk, Senior Leasing Manager Prologis added: “When planning Prologis Park Łódź, we focused on the needs of both the customers and their employees. Customers receive constant support from the dedicated team of Prologis property managers and technical services for the park, thanks to which they can quickly settle in and take care of the implementation of tasks without any problems as soon as the space is handed over.”
AXI IMMO Group facilitated this transaction. “The Łódź region is one of the best locations for carrying out production activities. Highways and expressways crossing here give 100% certainty of timely delivery of goods to every corner of Poland and Europe. The signed contract is another proof that Prologis parks meet key customer expectations,” said Hubert Wojtera, Director Industrial & Logistic, AXI IMMO.
Prologis Park Łódź, in which UN1F1ED2 has leased the last available space, is located 12 kilometers from the center of Łódź. The park will ultimately comprise 93,000 square meters of top-class warehouses and representative offices.
