Prologis completed a 42,170 square meter build-to-suit facility for long-term customer Agata at Prologis Park Piotrków II in late April 2017.

“The building was designed and constructed in line with our guidelines and will serve as our central distribution facility,” said Grzegorz Ćwik, vice president, Agata. “We are also pleased with the above-market-specification fire suppression solution that Prologis proposed.”

The new Class-A building has cutting-edge sustainability features, such as energy-efficient LED lighting fitted to assembly beams to allow a flexible floor plan and the latest smart meter tech-nology, which provides monitoring and analytics that allow the customer to manage and mini-mize energy costs.

“Demand for high-quality logistics real estate in Central Poland continues to increase,” said Paweł Sapek, senior vice president and country manager, Prologis Poland. “We wish Agata great success at their new facility at Prologis Park Piotrków II, a site that allows for future growth.”

Prologis Park Piotrków II currently comprises two buildings totaling 59,700 square meters. It is on the outskirts of Piotrkow Trybunalski, 40 kilometers from Łódź, the capital of the Central Poland market. The park sits at the intersection of two main roads: the A1/E75 motorway, which links northern and southern Poland, and the 8/E67 expressway, which connects Prague, the Silesian Agglomeration, Warsaw, Bialystok and Vilnius.

With a presence in four Central and Eastern Europen countries, Prologis is the leading provider of distribution facilities in the region.
